Utah State women's tennis (6-5, 0-0 Mountain West) will host Washington State (10-1, 0-0 Pac-12) at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club on Thursday, March 1, at 5 p.m.

In singles for USU, freshman Sasha Pisareva leads the way with a 7-3 mark at the No. 1 spot, while senior Sabrina Demerath is 6-5 at the Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 spots. In doubles, senior Maggie O'Meara and junior Jenna Kane are 3-0 at the Nos. 1 and 2 spots, sophomore Sophia Haleas and redshirt freshman Alexandra Taylor are 3-2 at the Nos. 2 and 3 spots and O'Meara and Pisareva are 3-3 at the Nos. 1 and 2 spots.

Washington State leads Utah State, 2-0, in program history. In singles, freshman Michaela Bayerlova, who is ranked No. 34 in singles in the nation, is 11-0 at the No. 1 spot. Senior Barbora Michaelkova and junior Tiffany Mylonas have each recorded a 9-2 mark at various singles positions. In doubles, Mylonas and sophomore Guzai Yusupova are 10-0 at the No. 2 spot, while Bayerlova and junior Aneta Miksovska are 10-1 at the No. 3 spot.
