No. 37 Utah State men's tennis (7-3, 1-0 MW) has scheduled a match against Oregon (6-2, 0-0 Pac-12) on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. MT, in Eugene, Oregon, as announced on Thursday by head coach James Wilson.

“When the opportunity to play against Oregon came up, we jumped on it," Wilson said. "They are a very strong team, and it will definitely be a challenge. Our guys are excited, motivated and realize that the only way to improve is by playing high-caliber teams such as this.”

The match was scheduled after USU's match at UTSA (4-5, 0-0 Conference USA) was canceled due to weather.

The Ducks lead the Aggies, 4-0, in program history. Oregon junior Thomas Laurent is currently ranked No. 13 in singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Laurent and senior Cormac Clissold are ranked No. 15 in doubles by the ITA. While currently unranked as a team, the Ducks ended the 2016-17 season at the No. 24 spot.
