PROVO — Tevita Ofahengaue, who has been BYU's football recruiting coordinator for the past two years, announced via Twitter he is no longer with the program.

Late Thursday night, Ofahengaue posted a farewell tweet to friends, recruits and Cougar players and staff.

Ofahengaue confirmed the changes with the Deseret News late Thursday night but had no further comment on his change. He did tell friends his departure was a mutual understanding between him and head coach Kalani Sitake.
