SEATTLE — The Utah Utes used a strong second half to grab their third straight win Thursday night, beating the Washington Huskies on the road 70-58.

Turning point: Down by eight at intermission after an awful close to the first half, the Utes tied things up less than five minutes into the second stanza and led by nine six minutes later. They then cruised down the stretch.

The hero: David Collette led the way with 22 points. Tyler Rawson added 15 with 11 rebounds.

3 keys:

• Utah finished with 10 more rebounds, eight more assists and two more steals than the Huskies.

• The Utes made eight more free throws on eight more attempts.

• After awful shooting in the first half, Utah wound up making two more field goals and the same number of 3-pointers as Washington.
