Dixie State center fielder Janessa Bassett was named the Pacific West Conference Softball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Additionally, Bassett recorded 12 RBIs, scored 12 runs and was a perfect 5-for-5 on stolen base attempts. Bassett also logged four multi-hit games at the tournament, including two games with three hits. She currently leads the PacWest Conference in runs scored (15), triples (two), home runs (five) and stolen bases (six).
