Utah Valley University women's soccer coach Chris Lemay announced the addition of Brianna Hatch to the spring 2018 roster. Hatch enrolled at UVU for the spring semester and will be training with the team before the 2018 season begins in August.

"We are excited to add Bri to our roster for this spring season," said Lemay. "Bringing her in now will have her ready to go come the fall. She is a tactical player that sees the game well. She is composed on the ball and has great passing range. She is good with both feet and is dangerous with her shots from distance."

Hatch (Gilbert, Arizona) is a transfer from BYU and will be a redshirt junior this fall. The 5-foot-8 midfielder played for the Cougars during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. She played in 13 matches in those two years, compiling five shots in 148 minutes of action. Hatch was a four-year varsity starter at Highland High School in Arizona where she earned numerous all-state and all-district honors. She was named the 2015 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year. Hatch's sister, Ashley, plays professionally for the North Carolina Courage and was recently named the NWSL Rookie of the Year.

Hatch joins a UVU soccer team that won the 2017 WAC soccer championship and made its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament this past fall.
