NEW ORLEANS — The Utah Jazz offense continued its incredible run Monday night in a 133-109 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Turning point: The Pelicans scored the first bucket of the game 13 seconds in, but the Jazz tied it up 50 seconds later and took the lead for good at the 10:35 mark of the first quarter.
The hero: Rodney Hood finished with 30 points on 12-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-4 from behind the 3-point line.
• The Jazz once again were outstanding from beyond the arc, finishing 14-of-21 compared to 8-of-22 for the Pelicans.
• Utah tallied 29 assists compared to 24 for New Orleans. Ricky Rubio led the way with 11, marking the fourth straight game he has finished with at least nine.
• The Jazz outrebounded the Pelicans, 45-30. Rudy Gobert led a balanced effort in that department with 10.
