Former BYU running back Jamaal Williams took home NFL Rookie of the Week honors on Friday after having another big week for the Green By Packers.

Williams rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and added 69 receiving yards and another score on seven receptions as Green Bay rallied to beat the Cleveland Browns 27-21 in overtime in Week 14 last Sunday.

Williams scored first on a 30-yard touchdown reception on the Packers’ first drive of the game, then added a 1-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter to cut Green Bay’s deficit to 21-14 early in the fourth quarter.

This comes one week after Williams, who has started the past four games for the Packers, won FedEx Ground Player of the Week honors.
