Letter to the Editor

I am strongly in support of net neutrality under Title II and will do everything in my power to protest (as is my American right) if the House votes to end net neutrality on Dec. 14. Our representatives were elected to represent the voice of the people in the great state of Utah and should not “sell out” for any amount of money. I am a registered Libertarian, but this is one of the few times that I welcome the government regulations and think we the people need protection from greedy ISPs from both charging us more money to access certain parts of the internet (which never has been, nor should be, the case in the history of the internet) and tracking our activity without our consent. I strongly urge the elected representatives of Utah to remember your civic duty and to keep the internet free and open by allowing net neutrality to continue.
