I am tired of hearing how the tax reform bill will hurt the poor. A lot of the poor have low income taxes or don't have to pay them at all. Many low-income people get financial aid from the federal government. Having the rich pay higher taxes is not necessarily advantageous to the poor. The federal government need not take on the role of Robin Hood. Many of the rich create jobs for people and also have more money to spend on services, and this keeps people employed. Increasing taxes on the rich may cause them to outsource jobs that the American people need so desperately.

It is the middle class that will benefit from the tax reform bill. In paying lower taxes, they will be able to remain in the middle class. This will help them from slipping to a lower income group. It might even help them reach for a higher income group.
