The Jazz picked up their fifth consecutive victory Friday night at Vivint Arena, topping the New Orleans Pelicans 114-108.
The turning point: An incredibly back-and-forth game saw the score tied at 103 with 1:52 left when Donovan Mitchell scored five straight unanswered points and Utah controlled things from there.
The Jazz made 18 free throws compared to nine for the Pelicans.
Utah won the rebounding battle 46-42.
The Jazz outscored the Pelicans in the paint 48-38.
The hero: Donovan Mitchell finished with a career-high 41 points and carried Utah down the stretch.
