SALT LAKE CITY — A recent video from LDS Living and Deseret Book shows Mormon grandmothers Sonja Robson, Connie Bybee and Betty Christensen testing out Christmas toys.

The grandmothers try out several popular 2017 children’s toys including Hatchimals CollEGGtibles and the Batman Batbot Xtreme.

“I’d love to have one of these myself,” exclaims one grandma after playing with an animated tiger toy.

The end of the video introduces Deseret Book’s “The Little Lamb from Bethlehem” toy to the grandmas, which seems to pass the “grandma test” with flying colors. The video advertises that this toy and its corresponding book tell the story of Jesus Christ’s birth from the perspective of a lamb in the stable where he was born.

“This one reminds you of the birth of the Savior, … where the others are just a lot of fun toys and fun things to do at Christmastime,” one grandma said, reacting to the Little Lamb toy.
