USA's #11 Sydney Leroux signs autographs for fans after team USA women beat Canada in a pre olympics match Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Rio Tinto stadium 2-1.

Last week it was announced that a National Women's Soccer League team was going to play in Rio Tinto Stadium next week.

On Monday, the team received some players.

The NWSL announced the league reacquired FC Kansas City's membership in the league and shuttered the franchise. The players will be transferred to a new club, operated by Real Salt Lake.

"We are sympathetic to the range of emotions experienced in recent days by this group of talented players. However, we know they will be excited about enhancing the soccer culture we are building for them here in Utah," said RSL general manager Craig Waibel in a news release.

The RSL-led team will also receive the team's 2018 draft picks (Nos. 4 and 14) as well as the No. 1 pick in the 2019 draft.

The roster includes three U.S. Women's National Team players: Becky Sauerbrunn, Amy Rodriguez and Sydney Leroux, who is married to Orlando City's Dominic Dwyer.

The yet-to-be-named team is searching for a head coach. The 10-team league with a 24-game season begins in April.
