Dixie State women's golf team signs two prep players to National Letters of Intent.

Dixie State University women's golf coach Lindsey Stucki announced the signing of two West region high school golfers to National Letters of Intent to play for the Trailblazers in the 2017-18 season and beyond. DSU signed Lone Peak High School standout Madison Moss and Hamilton HS product Cayla Clark.

“I am extremely excited to welcome both Cayla and Maddie to the Trailblazer family. They are going to be great additions to the squad,” Stucki said. “They both have winning attitudes and having spent some time getting to know each of them. I am 100 percent confident that they will represent Dixie State with great class.”

Moss (Highland, Utah) helped lead LPHS to the 2016 Utah 5A state championship and a state runner-up finish this past spring. She finished tied for eighth overall as a sophomore at the 2016 state tournament and followed that up with a ninth-place showing during her junior campaign last May.

Clark (Chandler, Arizona) helped lead HHS to an Arizona District 1 state title and earned all-district honors. She owns a 74.5 tournament scoring average this fall season.

“I feel really good about this recruiting class and can’t wait to see what they will bring to our program,” Stucki said. “They both have plenty of tournament experience and strong work ethics when it comes to their game.”
