NEW YORK — Just when things seemed as if they couldn’t get worse, the Utah Jazz are possibly being hit with another blow.

After Thursday’s practice, the team announced that starting point guard Ricky Rubio is questionable for Friday’s road game against the Brooklyn Nets with soreness in his right Achilles.

Rubio was spotted at practice, even getting up extra shots afterward, but has struggled offensively lately.

The team is also dealing with slew of other injuries, including center Rudy Gobert (right tibia contusion), Joe Johnson (right wrist tendon instability) and Dante Exum (left shoulder).

Utah (6-9) is still searching for its first road win.

Rubio averages 13.6 points while leading the team in assists (5.5) and steals (1.9) but has struggled with turnovers (3.6). He’s also shooting a dismal 37.3 percent from the field, but is a willing passer that fulfills a valuable role in the offense.

Jazz PG Ricky Rubio puts in extra shots to try and break out of his shooting slump.
