SALT LAKE CITY — The Pac-12 released its 2018 football schedule Thursday morning. Utah kicks things off with a game against Weber State at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 30. The Utes close out the season at home against BYU on Saturday, Nov. 24. Pac-12 officials credit the scheduling of the latter for allowing the conference not to have any teams play 12 games consecutively without a bye.

Utah’s slate includes a road game at Northern Illinois on Sept. 8. Pac-12 play begins the following week with Washington coming to Salt Lake City. The Utes have a bye the weekend of Sept. 22 before finishing the season with nine straight weeks of action. The stretch begins with road games at Washington State (Sept. 29) and Stanford (Oct. 6). Then come home dates with Arizona (Oct. 12) and USC (Oct. 20). Conference games continue with trips to UCLA (Oct. 26) and Arizona State (Nov. 3). Prior to the BYU game, Utah hosts Oregon (Nov. 10) and travels to Colorado (Nov. 17).
