Former Utah quarterback Alex Smith made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres' Show recently and surprised a family by inviting them to a Kansas City Chiefs game.

"See you guys soon," Smith said in a video broadcast on the show.

Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star chronicled the event.
