In honor of Veterans Day, restaurants throughout Utah are offering military servicemen and women a variety of deals this weekend.

SALT LAKE CITY — In honor of Veterans Day, restaurants throughout Utah are offering military servicemen and servicewomen a variety of deals. Please note that for most of these offers, proof of service or military ID is required. It is also encouraged to call ahead to make sure a specific location is honoring the deal.

Here's a list of 29 restaurants offering free meals and deals this weekend. Most were pulled from thebalance.com, and all were confirmed by various Utah locations.

Applebee's: On Saturday, veterans and active-duty military can select a free meal from a special menu at Applebee’s, with proof of military service.

Buffalo Wild Wings: All day on Saturday, Nov. 11, military servicemen and servicewomen can get a free small-size order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Cafe Rio: On Saturday, Nov. 11, Cafe Rio will offer a 50-percent discount off of military members’ purchases. Proof of military service is required.

California Pizza Kitchen: CPK is offering a free entree to veterans Saturday, Nov. 11. Those who can provide proof of military service can choose a pizza, full-size salad, or pasta from a special Veterans Day menu.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill: For Veterans Day, Carrabba’s Italian Grill is offering military servicemen and servicewomen a free appetizer. Proof of service/military ID is required.

Chili's: Chili’s is offering a free meal from a special Veterans Day menu to all veterans and active-duty military members on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Cracker Barrel: On Saturday, Nov. 11, Cracker Barrel is providing a complimentary slice of double-chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake to military veterans.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: On Saturday, Nov. 11, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will offer a free sandwich, side and Big Yellow Cup to honor veterans and their service.

Dunkin’ Donuts: All day Saturday, veterans can have their choice of one free doughnut at Dunkin’ Donuts.

Golden Corral: Golden Corral will be hosting its 17th annual Military Appreciation Night on Monday, Nov. 13 from 5-9 p.m. Veterans and current military personnel will be served a free dinner.

IHOP: On Friday, Nov. 10, IHOP is offering current and former military servicemen and servicewomen a free stack of Red, White and Blue pancakes. Proof of military service is required.

IKEA: This Saturday, Draper’s IKEA location is offering a free meal valued at up to $9.99 for veterans.

Krispy Kreme: Krispy Kreme is offering a free donut and small cup of coffee to all veterans and active-duty military members Saturday, Nov. 11.

Little Caesars Pizza: All day Saturday, veterans can get a free lunch combo that includes a drink and choice of pepperoni, cheese, three meat or Hawaiian pizza. Proof of military service is required.

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company (Orem): As a token of appreciation to veterans, MidiCi pizza company will be offering a free margherita pizza with two toppings to veterans and active military Friday-Saturday, Nov. 10-11. Military ID is required.

Mimi’s Cafe: With the purchase of a beverage, veterans and active-duty military with proof of military ID can get a free meal at Mimi's Cafe on Nov. 11. Breakfast entrees include farmhouse tacos, brioche french toast and buttermilk griddle cakes. Lunch/dinner entrees include the slow-roasted turkey, brioche cheeseburger and Asian chicken chopped salad.

MOD Pizza: On Saturday, Nov. 11, MOD Pizza locations will be giving out free pizza or salad vouchers to veterans and active military members. The vouchers can be redeemed for a free 11" pizza or salad any time during the week following Veterans Day, between Nov. 12-19.

Olive Garden: Olive Garden is offering a free entree from a select menu to veterans and active-duty military members on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Outback Steakhouse: On Saturday, Outback Steakhouse will honor military servicemen and servicewomen with a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage.

Papa John’s: On Veterans Day, military servicemen and servicewomen can get 25 percent off of their purchase at Papa John’s. Please note that this applies to the downtown Salt Lake City location; for other locations, call ahead and double check.

Pizza Pie Cafe: With proof of service, veterans and active-duty service members can have a free meal at Pizza Pie Cafe on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Red Lobster: Active-duty military, reserve, and military veterans can stop by Red Lobster and get a free appetizer or dessert Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11.

Red Robin: All day Saturday, veterans, reserve and active-duty military can go to Red Robin and get a free Red's Tavern Double burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.

Romano's Macaroni Grill: For Veterans Day, Romano's Macaroni Grill is offering a free meatballs and spaghetti meal to veterans and active military all day Nov. 11.

Sizzler: On Saturday, veterans will have their choice of a free meal including the following options: the 6 oz. Tri Tip Steak, single Malibu Chicken or six Crispy Shrimp. The deal will go from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Proof of service/military ID is required.

Texas Roadhouse: All veterans, reserve and active-duty military can get a free meal from a select menu on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Texas Roadhouse from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Call your Texas Roadhouse location to double check lunch hours.

Tucanos: On Friday and Saturday, Tucanos is offering current and past servicemen and servicewomen a free lunch or dinner with the purchase of another meal. Veterans who come by themselves can receive a half-priced meal. Proof of service is required.

Which Wich: Which Wich is honoring the service of military members by giving them a free sandwich with the purchase of a sandwich on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11. Military ID is required.

Village Inn: Village Inn is honoring veterans and current military personnel with a free “V.I.B.” breakfast Saturday, Nov. 11. Customers can choose four items from a large selection of menu items to build their breakfast. The deal is available all day and military ID required.
