Utah State women's tennis wrapped up its fall tournament schedule at the Wildcat Invitational No. 2 on Sunday in Tucson, Arizona, as freshman Sasha Pisareva and senior Sabrina Demerath won their singles championships.

Pisareva faced New Mexico's Ruth Copas in the final of the first singles draw, dropping just one game to win the match, 6-1, 6-0. Also in the first singles draw, sophomore Lucy Octave placed third after a 6-4, 7-6 (5) victory over Arizona's Marie Van Aelst. In the second singles draw, sophomore Sophia Haleas also placed third after coming from a set behind to win, 6-7 (3-7), 6-2, 7-6 (3), against Arizona's Elana Schneider.

In the second consolation singles draw championship, Demerath lost the first set, 2-6, to UTEP's Alisa Morozova but came back to win the next two, 6-3, 6-4. In the first consolation singles draw championship, sophomore Hannah Jones lost, 7-5, 6-3, to Arizona's Maggie Cohen.

Senior Maggie O'Meara competed for seventh place in the second singles draw against New Mexico's Yue Lin "Polly" Chen, winning 3-6, 6-2, 6-0. O'Meara then was perfect in an extra match against UTEP's Milena Baigorria, winning 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore Rhoda Tanui competed for seventh in the first singles draw against New Mexico's Hsiang-Wen "Albie" Huang, losing 6-1, 6-4. Junior Jenna Kane faced New Mexico's Lauren Rich in an extra match, losing 6-3, 6-4.
