DUCHESNE 27, PAROWAN 14: Jaren Mortensen hauled in two touchdown receptions and also grabbed two interceptions as Duchesne held off Parowan for the win in the 1A semifinals. MORGAN 34, JUAB 18: After a scoreless first quarter, Morgan jumped out to a quick 20-point lead in the second quarter. However, Juab crawled all the way back and had a chance to tie it up with a two-point conversion. The Trojans refocused and scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pick up the win. OREM 37, DESERT HILLS 17: After an early field goal by Desert Hills, Cooper Legas and Puka Nacua connected on their first of three touchdowns, including two of over 90 yards. The Tigers wouldn't look back as they picked up another win. Full story
SKY VIEW 35, PINE VIEW 21: Jackson Siddoway had three first-half touchdowns to help Sky View take a 21-0 halftime lead. The Panthers came out firing in the second half, cutting the Bobcats' lead to just a score on two occasions. But another two scores for Siddoway proved to be too much for the road team.
STANSBURY 38, RIDGELINE 7: After the Stallions jumped up to a 14-point first-quarter lead, a Hayden Williams touchdown cut the deficit in half. Stansbury scored two touchdowns late to seal their spot in the semifinals.
MOUNTAIN CREST 18, DIXIE 17: In a tight battle back and forth, the Mustangs were able to pull out the victory. After a late field goal, the Mustangs' defense was able to come up with a big stand to help edge out the home team. Watch the video replay
CORNER CANYON 37, HIGHLAND 0: Corner Canyon had a dominating win in the state quarterfinal. They used a spread out attack as four different Chargers found the end zone. Connor Ebeling had a good game as he hit three field goals and four extra points. Watch the video replay | Full recap
SPRINGVILLE 20, ALTA 17: The home team booked a trip to the semifinals with a last-second field goal to get past the Hawks. The Red Devils were led by Ty Eriksson, who threw two touchdown passes before leading his team down the field to set up the game-winning field goal. Full story
LEHI 35, WOODS CROSS 7: After Cammon Cooper scored an early touchdown, a fumble recovery in the end zone gave Lehi a commanding lead. The Pioneers defense continued to step up throughout the night on their way to advancing to the semifinals.
SKYRIDGE 45, JORDAN 43: Skyridge edged Jordan in a back-and-forth shootout, twice crawling back from double-digit deficits. The Falcons defense stepped up in the second half, containing Jordan's offense for much of it, as Skyridge led 45-31 at one point in the fourth quarter. Crew Wakley, the Beetdiggers quarterback, went out with an injury in the final minutes. Nick Cobbley stepped right in and led them on a touchdown drive. After recovering an onside kick, they marched down the field again, but couldn't convert the two-point conversion to force overtime. Full story
EAST 67, AMERICAN FORK 31: Xavier Spann and Ben Ford each rushed for three touchdowns as the Leopards' fast-paced offense led them to victory. It was a high-scoring shootout for both teams but the Cavemen just didn't have enough firepower to pull off the upset. Watch the video replay | Full recap
HERRIMAN 21, PLEASANT GROVE 3: Maeakafa Leakehe scored early to get things rolling. A defensive battle throughout was put out of reach with two fourth-quarter touchdown passes for Blake Freeland. The Mustangs defense held strong as Pleasant Grove never found the end zone.
BINGHAM 37, SYRACUSE 7: Bingham used a balanced attack as four players found the end zone. Kobi Matagi returned an interception for a touchdown late in the first quarter to held the Miners grab control of the game. Watch the video replay
LONE PEAK 26, WEBER 17: Masen Wake carried the ball 28 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns and Lone Peak's defense recorded five sacks, one interception and one safety as the Knights earned an impressive road victory at Weber to advance to the 6A semifinals. Lone Peak quarterback Brock Jones passed for 230 yards and two touchdowns after a rocky first half, and connected with Cody Colins for a pair of TDs in the second half. Full story
