Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas finish their performance on "Dancing With the Stars" on Monday, Oct. 23.

Lindsey Stirling may have to withdraw from ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” due to a rib injury sustained during practice on Sunday, Oct. 29, TV Guide reported.

"I'm going to be so mad if, like, I've blown it," Stirling told TV Guide during her stay at the hospital. "We've worked so hard."

After last week’s sci-fi inspired Argentine tango received a perfect score, Stirling and her partner Mark Ballas are favorites for this season’s competition. According to People, Stirling is currently in top shape for her career, having just completed a tour for her album “Brave Enough,” and training for “Dancing With the Stars” roughly six hours a day. Stirling also has plans for a Christmas tour for her latest album, “Warmer in the Winter,” with Mark Ballas and his wife, BC Jean.

It is currently unclear whether Stirling will be able to perform in tonight’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” TV Guide reported. If she is unable to perform, she may have to forfeit.

Earlier today, though, the violinist tweeted that while this week’s rehearsals have been difficult, she’s had reason to smile through it all.

Tonight’s episode “Halloween” will feature eight couples, one of which will be eliminated based on scores and voting from Monday’s show. According to ABC, dancers will perform a Charleston, contemporary, paso doble, jive, tango, or Viennese waltz.

The episode airs at 7:00 p.m. MST.
