The Grizzlies open four games in five nights on the road Wednesday in Dallas when they take on the Allen Americans in a rematch of last year’s first-round series. Friday and Saturday Utah plays at Tulsa, and Sunday Utah plays at Wichita.

The Grizzlies look to make it four out of five overall Wednesday when they start the trip in Allen against an Americans team that started 3-0 but has since gone winless in four straight at 0-2-2-0.

The Grizzlies are 3-0 this season when scoring first; however, two of their three wins have come when also trailing in the third period.

Grizzlies goaltender Kevin Carr, who has won two-straight starts early in the season, returns to Tulsa on Friday and Saturday where he won 51 games from 2014-16 to take on head coach Rob Murray who he played for last year in Alaska.

Taylor Richart is tied for the ECHL lead with two game-winning goals and has scored Utah’s game-winning goal in two-straight wins.

Kyle Thomas had a five-game scoring streak snapped on Saturday night and currently has one goal and seven assists for eight points in eight games on the season. Michael Pelech is tied for fourth in the ECHL in scoring with three goals and six assists for nine points in eight games.

Ryan Olsen had one goal and two assists during the weekend after totaling one assist in his first six games.

Greger Hanson was recalled to the Anaheim Ducks AHL affiliate in San Diego on Saturday after totaling three goals and five assists for eight points in seven games to start the season with Utah. Defenseman James Melindy was called up before the weekend’s action.

The Grizzlies return home Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10 and 11. Fans who buy a ticket at the Maverik Center box office or online via the Grizzlies website, when mentioning the offer, will receive a free ticket to return to watch the Grizzlies the following weekend on Friday, Nov. 17 and 18.
