KANAB 38, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 16: Tavin Ott led the way in Kanab's victory over Layton Christian in the 1A quarterfinals. Ott finished with three rushing touchdowns, Wyatt Houston chipped in a rushing score and Cameron Fryer hit a field goal in the Cowboys' win.
DUCHESNE 33, MONTICELLO 8: Duchesne got off to a hot start, scoring 26 points in the first half and never looking back, earning a trip to the 1A semifinals. Watch the video replay
MILFORD 28, RICH 6: Milford got off to a hot start, outscoring Rich 21-0 to open the first half. Ty Netto rushed for two touchdowns, while Bryson Barnes threw for two scores in the Tigers' win. With the victory, Milford will get a trip to the 1A semifinals. Watch the video replay
SOUTH SUMMIT 40, SAN JUAN 12: South Summit got it done on the ground, with Keegan Stracher leading the way. Stracher rushed for two touchdowns, with Hagen Miles and Ryan Atkinson each contributing rushing TD's. The Wildcats earned a berth in the 2A semifinals. Watch the video replay
BEAVER 56, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 3: Beaver scored six touchdowns in the first half, propelling its way to the 2A semifinals. Porter Hollingshead threw a touchdown and rushed for three more, and Ryker Albrecht rushed for two touchdowns. Watch the video replay
GRAND 35, MILLARD 17: Grand's defense generated two scores, while its offense was well-balanced. Bryant Troutt, Dante Wells and Trent Elmore scored a rushing touchdown each in the Red Devils' 2A quarterfinal victory. Watch the video replay
JUAN DIEGO 14, GRANTSVILLE 13: After Grantsville's Jackson Sanberg connected with Brady Arbon to make it a one-point game late in the fourth quarter, the Cowboys elected to go for two. Juan Diego's defense held strong and denied Grantsville the lead. The Soaring Eagle were led by Tristen Tonozzi's rushing touchdown and Rylan Davis's pass to Luke Prokopis.
MORGAN 27, RICHFIELD 13: Morgan scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to break a 13-13 tie and advance to the 3A semifinals. Bridger Miller and Jacob Stephens each scored rushing touchdowns, while Stephens connected with Tyson Hurd for a touchdown. Watch the video replay
JUAB 31, UNION 0: After getting off to a slow start, Juab was able to put things together en route to shutting out the Cougars offense. Alex White scored twice while three other players found the end zone to help the Wasps reach the semifinals. Watch the video replay

OREM 36, BEAR RIVER 7: Orem's defense blanked Bear River through three en route to a 4A first round victory. Cooper Legas threw five touchdowns in the win, two to Puka Nacua, and one each to Enoch Fiso, Jaxon Williams and Zach Ortiz.
DESERT HILLS 45, BONNEVILLE 13: Desert Hills' Noah Sewell rushed for five touchdowns as the Thunder dominated Bonneville in a 4A first round victory. Trailing by six in the first quarter, Desert Hills responded by scoring 24 in the second period.
RIDGELINE 25, SPANISH FORK 22: Brady Stuart threw two touchdowns and Sam Weda tossed another in Ridgeline's 25-22 win over Spanish Fork in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Micah White had two touchdown receptions, while Cameron Dahle added one. Watch the video replay | Full recap
SKY VIEW 50, MOUNTAIN VIEW 14: Caleb Christensen kicked off the scoring for Sky View with a 92-yard run, and the Bobcats didn't look back, racing to a victory in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Jackson Siddoway threw for two touchdowns, with receptions by Mason Falslev and Ryder Lundahl.
PINE VIEW 63, TOOELE 14: Pine View scored 42 unanswered points through the first two quarters, overwhelming Tooele in the first round of the 4A playoffs. Dallin Brown rushed for four touchdowns and threw another, while Jacob Mpungi rushed for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass and Julian Olson ran for a pair of scores. Watch the video replay
STANSBURY 28, CEDAR 20: Tavita Gagnier led Stansbury with three touchdowns as they pulled off the playoff win at home. Jaxon Garrett found the end zone for the second time of the nigh to cut it the Stallions lead to just one, but a blocked PAT and another Gagnier touchdown proved to be to much for the Redmen.
MOUNTAIN CREST 44, SALEM HILLS 31: Nick Nethercott caught four touchdowns, including three over 40 yards long as the Mustangs defeated Salem Hills in the playoffs. Mountain Crest moves on the play Dixie next week. Full recap
DIXIE 30, PARK CITY 6: Dixie jumped out to an early lead and led throughout on their way to a first round victory. Jacob Barben tossed three touchdowns and Hobbs Nyberg found the end zone twice. Next up for the Flyers, Mountain Crest comes to town for an exciting quarterfinal matchup.
5A FIRST ROUND
HIGHLAND 61, WASATCH 24: Highland quarterback Cole Peterson threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two more as the Rams blew out Wasatch in the first round of the 5A football playoffs. Colton White, Ousmane Doumbia, Siope Tenifa and Trayton Keyes had rushing touchdowns, while Doumbia also scored on a kickoff return and recovered an onside kick. Watch the video replay | Full recap
CORNER CANYON 24, BOUNTIFUL 21: A fourth quarter 35-yard Conner Ebeling field goal proved to be the difference as Corner Canyon previaled over Bountiful in the first round of the 5A playoffs. Tai Gonzales led the Chargers with two rushing touchdowns. Watch the video replay
SPRINGVILLE 28, OLYMPUS 14: Bradley Nicol recorded a hat trick of rushing TDs to go along with his 111 rushing yards, while Cole Bowers rushed for 168 yards and another touchdowns to lead Springville past Olympus for the win in the 5A first round in a surprisingly low-scoring game.
SKYRIDGE 55, SKYLINE 0: Skyridge raced out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, shutting Skyline out in a blowout victory in the first round of the 5A playoffs. Jayden Clemons threw for three touchdowns and rushed for one more, and Alex Palmer added two rushing scores. Full story
WOODS CROSS 28, TIMPVIEW 24: Carston Naegle threw for three touchdowns, including two to Judge Samuelu, as the Wildcats stunned Timpview for the 5A first-round win. Woods Cross scored twice in the fourth quarter for the victory.
JORDAN 28, VIEWMONT 20: Crew Wakley passed for 182 yards and a score and rushed for 110 yards and a score as visiting Jordan edged Viewmont in the 5A first round. In the loss, Viewmont's Cameron Brown rushed for 90 yards and a TD. Brown broke the school's single-season rushing record held since 1982 by Steve Caputo who ran for 1,277. Brown becomes the new leader with 1,346 yards. Full story
6A FIRST ROUND
LONE PEAK 56, GRANGER 12: Brock Jones threw four touchdown passes, including two to Brigham Trowbridge, as Lone Peak dominated Granger for the easy 6A first-round win. The Knights led 42-0 head into the fourth quarter before Granger scored a couple of late TDs. Nate Ritchie scored on a defensive touchdowns late in the second quarter for Lone Peak.
EAST 49, NORTHRIDGE 13: Hailame Feletoa and Charlie Vincent each scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns, and East's defense also recorded a safety as it rolled past Northridge for the victory in the 6A first round. East only led 7-6 early in the second quarter, but it put the game out of reach scoring 23 straight points for the big lead early in the third quarter.
PLEASANT GROVE 35, KEARNS 31: Kainoa Maldonado hauled in a 35-yard touchdown pass from Easton Casper with 5:41 left in the game, which proved to be the game winner as visiting Pleasant Grove knocked off Kearns in the 6A first round. Earlier in the fourth quarter the same two connected on an 80-yard TD pass, with Casper adding a rushing TD as well. Kearns' Sese Felila rushed for 234 yards and three TDs in the loss for the Cougars. Full story
SYRACUSE 28, WEST JORDAN 7: Ty Metcalfe threw three touchdowns to three different receivers as Syracuse eased past West Jordan after building a 21-0 halftime lead for the 6A first round win. In a rematch of last year's wild 38-35 first-round for Syracuse, the Titans took control of this game earl to avoid any late drama.
AMERICAN FORK 59, HUNTER 27: The Cavemen used a big second quarter to power by the the Wolverines. Jeff Harris and Tyler Traveller both had kickoff returns for touchdowns right before halftime to help American Fork keep there lead. They move on to the quarterfinals where they will match up with East.
BINGHAM 65, CYPRUS 7: Braedon Wissler got things started off for Bingham with a 60-yard punt return and the Miners never looked back, putting up 45 points before the halftime break. Amoni Kaili and Cameron Mitchell rushed for two touchdowns each in the first round of the 6A playoffs.
HERRIMAN 45, FREMONT 14: Herriman scored 31 before halftime and ran away with a 6A first-round win. Blake Freeland tossed two touchdown passes while Ben Fife, Jaxon James and Quincy Sandoval scored touchdowns on the ground.
WEBER 31, RIVERTON 13: Austin Bartholomew threw for three touchdowns (two were caught by Hudson Schenck) as Weber defeated Riverton to advance in the 6A playoffs. Josh Carter also rushed for a touchdown in the win.
