Utah State women's tennis continues its fall tournament schedule this week as the Aggies head to Boise, Idaho, to compete in the Boise State Invite, Friday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 29. Sophomores Hannah Jones, Sophia Haleas and Rhoda Tanui, along with freshman Alexandra Taylor, will be competing in the tournament in singles and doubles. The netters will face opponents from different schools, such as Boise State, Idaho State and Montana.

Utah State enters the tournament after a two-week break after the Aggies competed at the ITA Regionals in Salt Lake City, Utah. Freshman Sasha Pisareva led the way after advancing to the round of 16, finishing with a 2-1 record in singles play and 1-1 in doubles with Jones. Jones, Haleas, junior Jenna Kane and seniors Maggie O'Meara and Sabrina Demerath each went 1-1 in singles play. Tanui went 0-1 in singles. In doubles, O'Meara and Taylor finished 1-1, while Demerath and Tanui, and Haleas and Kane posted a 0-1 doubles record.
