Utah State’s men’s golf concluded the Air Force-hosted Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Sunday with a 5-over 293 to finish the tournament in 16th place at 21-over 885 (292-300-293).
Wyoming won the 19-team tournament with a 29-under 835 (284-27281), and the Cowboys’ John Murdock took medalist honors at 14-under 202 (67-65-70).
For Utah State, senior Braxton Miller led the Aggies as he tied for 56th place at 5-over 221 (72-74-75). Freshman Colten Cordingley had the best round of the day for Utah State on Sunday with a 2-under 70 to finish the tournament tied for 74th place at 8-over 224 (78-76-70). Sophomore Hayden Eckert tied for 79th place at 9-over 225 (77-75-73), and sophomore Brock Stanger (76-75-75) and sophomore Andy Hess (67-78-81) tied for 84th place at 10-over.
Utah State continues its fall schedule on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 25-26, when it competes in the Colorado Invitational.
