A year after being part of the first game to ever air live exclusively on Twitter, the Utah State Aggies will once again be part of an innovative way to bring college football to fans this fall.

The Mountain West Conference announced Wednesday morning that six of its games will air exclusively via Facebook Live during the 2017 season, and the Aggies will be playing in three of them.

Utah State's first game on Facebook will be Sept. 7 at home against Idaho State. The second will be Sept. 23 against San Jose State on the road, followed by the Oct. 14 contest against Wyoming in Logan.

The Sept. 2 game between UC Davis and San Diego State will be the first of the six.

The games will be aired in partnership with Stadium, a new multi-platform sports network. Stadium will air 15 games total on Facebook in 2017, with the other nine being Conference USA contests.

“We are continually exploring ways by which we can innovate and expand the visibility of our conference membership,” said Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson in the announcement. “Through our partnership with Stadium, we’re excited to offer our football product on the world’s most widely used social media platform.”

Coming off a 3-9 campaign in 2016, the Aggies were picked to finish last in the Mountain West in 2017. They'll open the season Sept. 1 at No. 9 Wisconsin.
