SALT LAKE CITY — On July 24, 1847, pioneers pulling handcarts and driving wagons pulled by oxen and horses entered the Salt Lake Valley. Utahns continue to honor the vision and courage of those early settlers with celebrations across the state. Here is a list of Pioneer Day celebrations scheduled throughout Utah, listed by county.
