Volleyball Magazine has released its final rankings for the 2017 recruiting classes this week and BYU men’s volleyball came in at No. 4 in the nation.

BYU’s 2017 recruiting class includes four 2017 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 members: Gabriel Garcia, Garrett Halsey, Zach Hendrickson and Charles Siragusa. It also includes a 2015 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 member in returned missionary Branden Oberender.

Also joining the class are James Reed, Cyrus Fa’alogo and Felipe De Brito Ferreira. De Brito Ferreira (Brazil) joins Garcia (Puerto Rico) as the two new international players on the roster next season. Fa’alogo is the lone transfer on the list — coming from Long Beach City College.

Fellow Mountain Pacific Sports Federation squads UCLA, Stanford and USC fill out the first three spots, respectively.

The 2017 VolleyballMag.com rankings are based on voting done by a panel of NCAA Division I-II men’s coaches and take into consideration international signees and transfers.
