OGDEN — A fire in an apartment building forced 11 people out of their homes early Tuesday morning and damaged six units, authorities said.
Crews were called to the apartment complex at 1429 E. Canyon Cove Lane at 3:33 a.m., after someone reported the blaze in a stairwell on the west side of the building, the Ogden City Fire Department said in a tweet.
No one was injured and residents were allowed to go back home and retrieve belongings later Tuesday morning.
Damage is estimated to be about $200,000 and spanned three stories of the building.
Investigators did not say Tuesday what sparked the fire.
