CEDAR CITY — The Southern Utah Museum of Art has named Jessica Farling as its new director and curator.
Farling, who received her master of arts in museum studies from the University of Oklahoma, will assume her new role July 1.
She began her career at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma as a student employee working part time in education. She became a full-time museum educator and eventually took a position as the director of public engagement.
The museum, 13 S. 300 West, is part of the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts on the campus of Southern Utah University.
