SALT LAKE CITY — Records from Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium will be the focus of Western European Family History Conference on May 15-19 offered by the Family History Library, according to a news release.
Classes are available in-person or online and the conference is intended for beginning and intermediate researchers. Class topics will include census, church, immigration and vital records.
The hour-long classes will begin daily at 9 a.m. with the last class starting at 3:15 p.m. The classes will be taught by the staff at the Family History Library and experts and guest genealogists. The conference is free but registration is required. For those attending in-person, classes will be in the main floor classrooms. Seating is limited and webinar attendance is limited to 500 attendees due to webinar bandwidth limitations, according to a news release.
