The Utah Valley University women's golf team continues its busy spring campaign by heading to Roseville, California, on Monday and Tuesday, March 20-21, for the Sacramento State Invitational. The event will be contested at the Sierra View Country Club and will mark UVU's third tournament in the past week.

The two-day, 54-hole event will feature a pair of rounds on Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday. The tournament will get underway at 7:45 a.m. PT, on Monday, and live results will be available throughout the duration of the event by visiting Golfstat Results.

Twelve teams are scheduled to compete at Monday and Tuesday's Sacramento State Invite. Besides the Wolverines and the host Hornets, golfers from Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Idaho State, Nevada, North Dakota, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Princeton, South Dakota and Weber State are set to tee off at the event.

The Wolverines look to turn things around at the Sac State Invitational after posting a 12th-place finish at the BYU at Entrada Classic last Monday and Tuesday and a 10th-place showing at Southern Utah's Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational on Thursday and Friday. UVU finished in 12th place at the Entrada Classic after carding a three-round total of 960 (320, 312, 328) and in 10th at the Lady Thunderbird Invite after tallying a two-round total of 622 (310-312).

Freshman Justine Lauer led the Wolverines at the BYU at Entrada Classic by tying for 31st place with a 16-over 232 (75-76-81), while sophomores Ana Raga and Carly Dehlin led UVU at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invite by tying for 19th and 22nd, respectively. Raga posted a top-20 finish with a 7-over-par 151 (74-77), while Dehlin finished right behind her in 22nd at 8-over (75-77—152).

Raga, Dehlin, Lauer and redshirt freshmen Kaylee Shimizu and Isabella Lesa are set to compete for the Wolverines at the Sac State Invite, while senior Kimberly Nyhus is slated to play the field as an individual.

The Venezuelan sophomore Raga paces the Wolverines on the season with a 76.50 scoring average, while Dehlin is right behind her at 77.15 and Lauer sits at 78.05.

Following the conclusion of the Sacramento State Invitational, UVU will head to Hawaii next week for the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. The three-day, 54-hole event will be contested at the Kapalua Golf Club in Lahaina, Maui, on March 27-29.
