Utah Valley's Kalli Suesue has been named to the NSCAA All-West region team.

Senior defender Kalli Suesue has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region team. Suesue earned the West Region's second-team honors for her play this past year.

"I'm very proud of Kalli, her hard work, leadership and all she has been able to accomplish during her time here at UVU," said Utah Valley head coach Brent Anderson. "The NSCAA selection is a great recognition for her and well deserved."

Suesue, from Gilbert, Arizona (Gilbert HS), anchored the Wolverine defense to six shutouts on the season. The senior defender helped the UVU defense to a 1.20 goals allowed per game average. Suesue also helped on the offensive side, tallying one goal and two assists. She also registered seven shots, including three on goal during the season. Suesue earned first-team All-WAC honors after helping the team to a 10-8-2 overall record.

Suesue anchored the UVU defense to 27 shutouts during her four-year career at UVU. She helped the Wolverines to their first-ever WAC Tournament championship in 2015.
