BYU's Noteworthy sings "Vivir Mi Vida" in its new YouTube video.

Noteworthy, the female a cappella group from Brigham Young University, returns to YouTube with its cover of “Vivir Mi Vida.” This up-tempo version of Marc Anthony’s original combines the exciting Spanish lyrics with Noteworthy’s unique harmonies and mimicked instrumentation.

“Vivir Mi Vida,” or “Live My Life,” is one of 15 songs featured on Noteworthy’s new album, “Ready for a Miracle,” which will be released Friday. The group’s director, Keith Evans, who was once a member of BYU’s Vocal Point, also directed this video.

Noteworthy is the counterpart to BYU’s all-male group Vocal Point and is composed of nine female voices. It was formed by BYU alumna Ester Yoder in 2007 but was not officially recognized by the university until 2014. It has won several awards, including first place at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and appeared on the first season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.” Since joining YouTube in 2012, the group's channel has over 18 million views and 70,000 subscribers.

The 2015-16 members of Noteworthy include Allyssa Jex Blake, Sarah Cunha, Alyssa Flake, Alyssa Aramaki Hazen, Rachael Holt, Jessica McKay Johnson, Janae Klumpp, Tressa Roberts and Taylor Whitlock Smith.
