TAYLORSVILLE — The city will hold a Night Out Against Crime event on Thursday, Aug. 11, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at City Hall, 2600 Taylorsville Blvd.

During the event, residents can meet with public safety experts and learn more about crime prevention and strengthening your neighborhood.

In addition, Boy Scouts can work on their crime prevention, emergency preparedness and safety merit badges.

There will also be displays of police and firefighting equipment, as well as presentations from the Taylorsville Police Department.
