Considering some of the juggernaut teams in 4A the past few years, there’s no question that Class 4A is a bit down this season. From an excitement and competitive standpoint, that’s not a bad thing heading into this year’s state tournament.

Even though No. 1 Timpview is the favorite heading into this year’s tourney, it’s certainly beatable as Corner Canyon proved late in the season, and there are five or six teams who have what it takes to prove it on the biggest stage.
