Utah Jazz fans may have had visions this summer of 7-foot-3 rookie center Tibor Pleiss becoming a player who could stretch the floor for Quin Snyder's club.

Those dreams haven't yet materialized, and on Monday the team announced that it's sent the German to its D-League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede.

Pleiss, who was acquired by the Jazz last February in the trade that sent Enes Kanter to the Oklahoma City Thunder, hasn't been able to crack Snyder's regular rotation, appearing in just four of Utah's 15 games.

He scored just one point per appearance, averaging 3.3 minutes each game.

Per a news release, Pleiss, who joined the Jazz following a stint in Spain, will suit up for the Stampede on Tuesday when it plays the Oklahoma City Blue on the road.
