The Pleasant Grove High baseball team is in elite company, coming in at No. 6 in the latest USA Today Top 25 national high school baseball rankings.

The Vikings are off to a 10-0 start to the season and rose 20 spots in the latest poll, which was released Wednesday.

Payton Henry leads the Vikings offensively with six doubles and four home runs, including two in Pleasant Grove's 13-3 victory over Riverton on Tuesday.

On the mound, Logan Carlson is pacing the Vikings with a 3-0 record, including three shutout victories.

Pleasant Grove, the top-ranked team in 5A by the Deseret News, has handed American Fork each of its four losses this season. The Cavemen are ranked fourth in 5A.
