Brigham Young University was listed as one of the top 40 most musical universities, according to a study by Spotify.

"We found the schools whose students signed up for our student deal at the highest rates last semester, because that plan appeals to students who love music. Then, we ranked the schools where these listeners played the most songs, because people who love music listen a lot," Spotify posted online.

Brigham Young University comes in at the third spot behind Arizona State University and Auburn University.

The study also shared specific data regarding the most popular songs and artists at each university. The top artists streamed at Brigham Young University included Coldplay, One Republic, Imagine Dragons, Bastille and Ed Sheeran. The top songs streamed were "Classic" by MKTO, "Magic" by Coldplay and "Pompeii" by Bastille.

The college came in with the lowest rates in listening to R&B and hip-hop genres, and the highest rates in pop, rock, folk and boy band genres. The study also listed BYU as the school that goes to bed the earliest and wakes up the earliest.
