Crews battled a 400-acre fire in Tooele County on Wednesday, July 15, 2014, but much of the smoke impacting Utah air is coming from out of state. Fires were burning in Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon and California on Wednesday as winds carried the smoke across state lines. The smoke is expected to move out of Utah by the weekend as temperatures on the Wasatch Front inch toward 95 degrees, KSL meteorologist Kevin Eubank reported.
