FARMINGTON — The annual Davis County Fair will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, to Saturday, Aug. 16.
The fair is at the Legacy Events Center, 151 S. 1100 West (Park Lane) in Farmington. Admission will be free, excluding some special ticketed events.
Parking closest to the fair will cost $7, or it will be $5 in the more distant North Parking Lot. In each area, there is a $2 discount off the parking fee for patrons who bring a can of food.
Patrons also will be able to purchase their parking passes in advance at davisfair.com.
The special events will include a demolition derby on Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. A rodeo will be held Aug. 15-16, 8 p.m. both days. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the gate.
Regular events include an elephant encounter and a separate bear show. The fair also will feature a Science Discovery Tent and free pony rides, as well as pie eating contests, monster truck rides and a daily hypnotist show.
