SALT LAKE CITY — The time has changed for a devotional in honor of second LDS Church President Brigham Young, which will take place Sunday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ensign Stake Center, 135 A St., Salt Lake City.

President Young was born June 1, 1801, in Whitingham, Vermont — 213 years ago.

Elder Joe J. Christensen, a former member of the Seventy and former president of Ricks College, will be the speaker. Following the devotional, those attending are invited to bring a flower to place at President Young’s grave located nearby at 140 First Ave., according to information from the Brigham Young Family Association.
