Participants walk and run for the Race for the Cure's breast cancer fundraiser and awareness Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Salt Lake City. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure raises money for breast cancer detection and awareness, with 75 percent of the proceeds raised in Salt Lake City staying in Utah to help fund the effort. More than 120-affiliated races are held worldwide.

Hundreds of walkers, runners, strollers and amblers donning pink turned out for the Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure in Salt Lake City, braving rain and cool temperatures to raise money for breast cancer victims, treatment and research. The event honors the memory of those who have died from breast cancer and the victory of those who have survived.
