After two rounds of play at the BYU at Entrada Classic in St. George, the Utah Valley University women's golf team finds itself in 14th place with a 654.

Junior Hannah Herman is leading the way for UVU after 36 holes of play as she is tied for 30th at 17-over-par. After carding an 84 to open the tournament, the Wolverine junior responded by firing a 5-over 77 in round two for a total of 161.

Redshirt freshman Kimberly Nyhus is in second for Utah Valley, as she'll enter the final round tied for 36th with a +18 (162). After shooting a 4-over 76 in the first 18, Nyhus carded an 86 in round two.

Junior Brooke Whittaker and freshman Monica Yeates are next for the Wolverines as they are tied for 58th at 24-over-par. Whittaker fired an 83 and an 85, while Yeates carded scores of 86 and 82. Fellow junior Heather Mathison is rounding out UVU's field of five as she is tied for 76th with a 177 (81, 96).

Wisconsin is leading the tournament at 43-over-par (619), while host BYU is in second place with a 622 and Minnesota finds itself in third (630). At 77 over, UVU is just three shots out of ninth place and is ahead of fellow in-state foes Southern Utah and Dixie State.

The two-day tournament that is being contested at the Entrada Snow Canyon Country Club concludes Tuesday, as the final 18 holes of golf will get underway at 8:30 a.m. To view Tuesday's tee times visit GolfStat.
