Current NFL player and former Utah Ute Eric Weddle will be holding a book signing at EnergySolutions Arena on May 18 when the Utah Blaze take on the Iowa Barnstormers.

Weddle will be signing his new book “No Excuses, No Regrets: The Eric Weddle Story” from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the arena concourse.

Weddle was named Mountain West Player of the Year and First Team All MWC in 2005 and 2006 while with the Utes. During his senior year he was a Consensus All-American and named defensive MVP of the Emerald Bowl.

He was selected in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers where he has been named All-Pro three times. In 2011, he led the NFL in interceptions and was named to the Pro Bowl.
