Early Monday morning the White House decided to play their own April Fool's joke on the rest of the country with the help of YouTube star 'Kid President.'

The White House website and Twitter page announced that a "special video from the president" would be released at 10 a.m. (EST). But after only a few seconds into the "special video" viewers were surprised by Robby Novak climbing up the podium rather than the appearance of President Obama.

The 9-year-old 'Kid President' first looked around and then said, 'It looks like you were expecting somebody else. But April Fool's on y'all.'

Novak is most popular for his video, 'A Pep Talk from Kid President to You,' which has recieved more than 17 million views on YouTube.

Since his YouTube fame, Novak has made several apperances on news and talk shows across the country. Novak is also one of the celebrity guests to attend the White House Easter Egg Roll.
