Happy Fourth of July! In honor of this patriotic holiday, find blogs filled with freedom, fun, food, and flags. And may your holiday be filled with friends and family.
Freedom video: I have to pull this perfectly themed Mormon Messages video on “The Freedom To ” from a few years back to share with you this Fourth of July. I love how it features families from all over the world, and yet it would be a lovely thing to take a moment to enjoy with your family sometime today. Please watch.
Fourth food: I had to stop by Our Best Bites to see what “Independence Day” recipes these ladies were currently featuring. And I wasn’t disappointed to find red, white, and blue food in the form of layered trifle, layered punch, layered gelatin and much more (not all layered). Mmm!
Fun nails: I thought this blogger’s tutorial on how to make “Easy Independence Day Nails” looked fun and festive. And did I mention, it didn’t take more than a few colors and some simple strokes. Click in to learn how!
Flags flying: And for some reason, this blogger’s simple pen sketch of the American flag felt powerfully patriotic. Click in to view “This is for the 4th of July” and share.
