OREM, Utah -- Baseball America and Perfect Game have named Utah Valley University's Goose Kallunki to their respective lists of All-Americans. Both tabbed the consensus All-American as a third-team recipient.

Kallunki was honored as a first-team All-American from Louisville Slugger, the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). He hit .419 with 18 home runs and a nation-best 86 RBIs after leading the Wolverines to a 47-12 mark.

His list of 2012 honors also include: NCBWA District VIII Player of the Year, Great West Conference Player of the Year, Dick Howser Trophy finalist and Golden Spikes Award semifinalist.

Kallunki, who was drafted by the San Diego Padres, is playing for the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League. As of Monday, he is batting .308 for the Emeralds after going 2-for-4 with three RBIs on Sunday at Boise.
