DRAPER — Community members are invited to attend the open house to see the historic Day Dairy Barn. The barn has been moved and restored.
The event will take place May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
In 2010, the barn was moved from 12441 S. 900 East to its current location just east of the historic Fitzgerald pioneer home (now the Draper Chamber of Commerce) and next to a historic pioneer cabin. The area is now called: “Pioneer Square.”
The barn will be available to rent for public meetings, dances, art shows, farmer’s markets, reunions, weddings and other community events.
