The BibleVideos.lds.org page just hit an all-time viewership high.

Record-breaking day: I am delighted to report that the BibleVideos.lds.org site just broke a record. Scott Trotter, spokesman for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, explains that “On Sunday, 8 April, the Bible Videos website had the highest number of visitors and page views since the site was launched on 4 December 2011. The video ‘He is Risen’ was widely shared through social networks and blogs, which greatly contributed to the number of visitors.” How awesome is that? For everyone who shared or viewed on that day, this honor goes to all of us.

Patriarchal blessings: Every now and again I get an email wondering about how to get patriarchal blessing copies. Well the church has made it easier than ever to request one and Larry Richman explains exactly how to make a “Patriarchal Blessing Request” online. Plus it will be mailed to you free of charge! Nice!

Godly duty: Learn about, in the words of President Henry B. Eyring, the first counselor in the First Presidency, what “the Lord expects of you” in “Fulfilling Your Duty to God,” the newest Mormon Message for Youth video. Watch as various young men provide testimony to the power of fulfilling their “Duty to God” goals: “You never know how far a small and simple thing is going to go.” Click in to view!

Amusement parks: Summer seems right around the corner, and for many families, that means amusement parks. This guest blogger provides a handy list of “10 Ways to Save Money At Amusement Parks” including this great piece of advice: “4. While I don’t know any park that allows outside food, most have to allow water. So don’t pay for an overpriced water bottle. Bring a refillable bottle in with you and refill through the day. You can also grab drink packets (like Kool Aid, Crystal Light) from the dollar store and keep those with you.”
